What you’ll be doing...

  • Coaching and supporting the development of individuals' skills and abilities so that they can fulfill current or future job/role responsibilities more effectively
  • Creating a work environment where motivated people can excel
  • Supervising store personnel to: Meet and exceed assigned goals for: customer experience and reputation, sales and service, revenue and productivity
  • Maintaining standards for personal sales in addition to managerial duties as directed by the district manager
  • Attending weekly district meetings in which some travel may be required
  • Offering integrated, seamless, and entertainment options including DIRECTV
  • Interviewing, hiring and making necessary discipline decisions, including terminations, for store personnel
  • Observing and coaching employees to provide feedback around sales technique effectiveness
  • Fully understanding and educating your team on the compensation plan
  • Employing Scheduling Tools to properly staff and meet business needs
  • Ensuring timely completion of required training among your team

You will need:

  • To be at least 18 years old
  • A High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to motivate and lead direct reports
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Consistency in demonstrating a commitment to Spring Mobile policies and procedures
  • Capable of operating a personal computer, wireless equipment and copier
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
  • To have clear communication, listening, writing and speaking skills
  • Ability to walk; sit for long periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle small objects, or feel objects or controls; reach and stretch with hands and arms; balance; stoop; kneel and crawl under desks or in confined spaces; talk and hear.  Specific vision abilities required; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth, the ability to look at the computer screen for extended periods of time. In addition, you may be asked to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Things that are nice to have:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • Previous sales management experience in the telecommunications or related industry
  • Familiarity with wireless terminology and AT&T Mobility systems
