SUMMARY


The Spring Mobile Market Director is a field sales management position overseeing the District Manager role.  This individual is responsible for achieving regional income and expense targets along with driving individual areas of District responsibility results in the areas of:  Program Execution, Extraordinary Customer Experience, and Sales Discipline.  Additionally, the Regional Director is required to build and maintain strong carrier relationships and execution of the company’s sales program to deliver AT&T and Spring sales results faster and better than our peers.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*


Drive Sales and Income:

  • Obtain Region budget Gross Profit and EBITDA targets and manage Region P&L
  • Execute the Company’s “Run the Play” Program which is comprised of Program Execution, Extraordinary Experience and Sales Discipline
  • Maintain greater than 90% Scorecard metrics region, district, store and employee
  • Consistently reach quarterly goals and objectives as set by VP of Sales
  • Report daily sales and productivity metrics to the VP of Sales
  • Conduct daily sales calls with all District Managers
  • Conduct weekly store tours with District Managers and complete a District Manager Scorecard
  • Conduct quarterly launch meetings for all employees in the region
  • Be able to lead by example by demonstrating how to perform sales techniques
  • Maintain a proficient knowledge and ability to sell at point of sale using all applicable AT&T and Spring systems

  • Exemplify Spring Mobile values in all interactions
  • Drive participation in company culture initiatives; Facebook, Quit for Life, Health and Fitness programs, Tuition Reimbursement, 401K participation, Charitable Foundation, etc. 
  • Organize and hold regional activities to increase team development and camaraderie
  • Ensure employees deliver on the AT&T 5 Key Behaviors
  • Maintain a current and in-depth knowledge surrounding industry news and trends
  • Cultivate Strong local Carrier (AT&T) Relationships:
  • Conduct monthly review calls with local AT&T Director and ARSM
  • Consistently maintain the #1 spot in all local market AT&T scorecards
  • Effectively communicate and share individual region success back to AT&T
  • Engage and involve local AT&T field teams (RAE, ARSM) with region programs; meetings, calls, etc.
  • Deliver AT&T sales initiatives faster and better than peers

Develop Employees:

  • Align and drive region with annual company Vision, Mission, Values, Pledge and Theme
  • Maintain continued employee progress through the regional talent supply/depth chart
  • Conduct quarterly District Manager business review plans including P&L reviews
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for all District Managers
  • Drive 100% completion of all training programs; Spring Specialist, Manager Certification, AT&T CORE, and AT&T Monthly Initiative trainings
  • Maintain staffing levels at all required seasonality levels throughout the year through execution of proactive talent acquisition strategy and talent planning

Operational Efficiency:

  • Ensure all store level routines are executed
  • Participate in weekly Regional Director meetings and conduct weekly District Manager Meetings
  • Attend all District Rallies
  • Monitor and manage the monthly operations scorecard
  • Manage region rate plan and feature discrepancy reports
  • Enforce and coach uniformity of all policies and procedures
  • Ensure execution of store merchandising plan-o-gram
  • Ensure execution of C&C requirements
  • Protect the company and customers against fraudulent activities
  • Review the region payroll monthly to ensure accuracy 
  • Ensure accuracy in the trade in program
  • Monitor zero report and sales by employee activity within the region
  • Aid in the approval process of new store builds and relocations
  • Other duties as prescribed by the Senior Vice President of Sales

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • 7 or more years of related experience required, with at least 3 years of experience as a manager  with direct reports
  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree with a related field of study required; Master’s degree with a related field of study preferred
