Job Description


The District Manager position is responsible for obtaining revenue and expense budgets, driving operational excellence, and developing sales staff through training compliance and hands on leadership at the store level. The position is a field sales position that directly supervises store managers. Additionally, the District Manager is required to ensure the execution of the Sales Program of the company and fulfill the district’s Sales, Operations, and Team Development objectives. Must be willing to relocate.

  • Drive outstanding business results through traditional management functions including sourcing and selecting talent, coaching and development, workforce and project scheduling, performance assessment, and general talent planning

Sales Objectives:

  • 50+ hours a week
  • Obtain budget GP and EBITDA targets by store
  • Manage Scorecard metrics by store and employee
  • Obtain quarterly goals and objectives
  • Report daily to the Market Driector by 10am
  • Conduct dailey sales calls with store managers by 10am
  • Lead by example by demonstrating how to perform al sales techniques and obligations

Development of Staff Objectives:

  • Drive district to obtain annual company objectives, sales objectives and vision
  • Develop Spring culture at a district level and build district camaraderie
  • Drive company and district values and culture at every store
  • Drive 90% or greater CES performace and ensure retail execution of the “Extraordinary Experience” and the 5 Key Behaviors
  • Motivate and develop store manager for future positions
  • Conduct monthly store manager business plan reviews, including P&L reviews
  • Conduct semi-annual Wireless Consultant one on ones
  • Ensure Specialist, Manager Certification, ATT Core , and Monthly Initiative Trainings are completed 100%
  • Hire qualified Store Managers that meet Spring standards and manage region depth chart
  • Maintian staffing levels at recommended levels
  • Conduct annual performace reviews of managers

Operational Objectives:

  • Execute the DM routine at every store weekly
  • Ensure store routines are executed
  • Participate in weekly DM meetings and conduct your own weekly store manager meetings
  • Conduct monthly District Rally meetings
  • Coordinate district quarterly activities and manage activities budget
  • Conduct quarterly region launch events
  • Prepare district quarterly huddles report and attend market quarterly huddle meetings
  • Monitor and manage weekly inventory reporting
  • Manage district rate plan discrepancy to be $0
  • Manage District Weekly Task Checklists
  • Assure uniformity and enforcement of the Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure stores maintain store merchandising plan-ogram, cleanliness, and dress code guidelines
  • Protect the company and customers against fraudulent activities
  • Review the district payroll monthly to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain district trade in program to a $0 variance
  • Other duties as prescrived by the Regional Director

  • 5 or more years of related experience required
  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree with a related field of study required; at least two years of additional related work experience may be considered in substitution


  • Expert ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members
  • Proficient relationship building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization, and leverage influential leadership
  • Availability to work non-standard office hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • The ability to work in an extremely fast pace and changing environment
  • Expert ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
  • Expert project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
  • Proficient ability to solve functional problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
  • Working knowledge of employee development: talent assessment, competency-based development, motivation and reward
  • Working ability to effectively recruit, hire, coach, train, develop, retain, and redirect others as needed in order to produce a successful team
