As a Spring Business Account Executive, you are a passionate expert in mobility business solutions (mobile phones, tablets, IoT devices, etc.) and consult frequently and profitably with small to medium size businesses to solve complex business needs.  You understand the value of building and maintaining great relationships, take pride in your ability to find new sales opportunities through a variety of prospecting methods within your assigned district, and consistently exceed sales targets by maintaining a robust sales funnel, working enthusiastically, productively, and collaboratively with other sales professionals within the Spring Business family.

The core responsibilities for a Spring Business Account Executive are to develop and maintain great relationships with clients and partners, maximize sales opportunities with new and existing accounts, and be operationally excellent in all that you do.  You must have a good working knowledge of the products and services we sell, be very comfortable developing qualified leads over the phone and in person, be able to uncover business needs through on-site visits, and collaborate with internal and external partners to prepare and deliver proposals that help our clients maximize their business.

Duties directly related to making sales include meeting with clients and engaging in sales activities at the customers site; communicating with clients via phone, teleconference, email, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, etc.; traveling to and from the customer's premise for the purpose of engaging in sales activities; providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sales; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sales; researching and developing customer solutions with internal and external partners.

The Abilities and Skills Others Will See Often

  • Proficient and timely completion of operational and administrative tasks.
  • Productive sales prospecting.
  • Expert sales presentation skills, including conversational agility and an expert ability to explore client needs, propose productive solutions, and overcome objections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access.
  • Expert communication skills using written and spoken English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Proficient in Google Suite including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms.
  • Demonstrated and successful background in technical sales.
  • Expert knowledge for delivering business telecommunications and technology solutions direct to enterprise businesses or Federal, State or local government agencies.
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce, Sugar, Statflo, v platforms, or other CRM tools preferred.

Minimum Experience and Education

  • 3+ years’ experience business-to-business sales experience required. Account management and client relationship management experience preferred.
  • Regionally accredited bachelor’s degree; additional, commensurate business experience may be accepted in substitution.
  • Work hours will be based on business needs and will include some nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
